13th Annual Roving Eye Film Festival

Movie buffs rejoice – especially all of you indie and international cinema aficionados. Once again, Roger Williams University and the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival have partnered to bring you The Roving Eye Film Festival, a weeklong extravaganza of screenings and talks about all things cinema. And all of it is free!

This year’s theme is “You Know You Want to Look,” and every day features different events and screenings. The festival is a portal for discovery for film, arts and culture lovers across the region. This year’s programming features over 70 films from across the world including Academy Award nominees and winners, numerous World and US Premieres; panel discussions/symposia; visiting filmmakers and student film showcases. The event will conclude with the Spring 2018 Soforenko Foundation Film/Speaker Series On The Jewish Experience. Wow. 

All screenings will be free of charge and open to the public and screened on the campus of Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. The festival runs from April 16 through 22, and you can find a list of all events on the website at Check it out ‑ you know you want to look.
