32nd Annual Brewster in Bloom

In the mid 80’s, a group of Brewster, MA residents planted hundreds of daffodils along Rt. 6A. From this, far more than flowers sprang up – it’s now three full days of homespun festivities, celebrating their 32nd anniversary.

Brewster in Bloom is a combination town-wide spring celebration and fundraising event, with arts and crafts shows, a road race, a parade, concerts & more filling May 4, 5 & 6, 2018. The charm is that it’s every bit the community event you’d hope for. Highlights on Friday night, include The Brewster Band opening Spring Concert (7 pm, at Brewster Baptist Church, 1848 Main Street) where they’ll entertain you with some tunes. A free will offering will be collected to support the Band. There's also the Annual Arts & Antiques Excursion on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to closing. A fun self-guided tour of Brewster's numerous antique and art galleries. Followed by a 5K Bloom Run presented by Cape Cod 5 on Saturday and the Brewster in Bloom Parade on Sunday. If you can’t get enough of blooming flowers, nearby Falmouth Village (Queens Buyway to Main Street, Falmouth Village, MA 02541; 234 567-8910) celebrates from April 28 right into the next weekend (through May 6), with May baskets, May poles, spring hats, inn tours, plant sales and workshops, plus plenty of blooming bargains at retail stores.
