Opening Night for Branford Jazz on the Green
It’s a good summer for jazz music in Eastern Connecticut this year, with the opening of Branford Jazz on the Green in Branford, CT on Thursday, June 28. Come celebrate 10 years of Jazz on the Green!
The Branford Jazz on the Green Series opens its string of Thursday night jazz performances with band Run N' Fly. Known for its depth of infusion blending American pop, jazz and soul into their culture, Run N’ Fly will demonstrate its musical spirit as the opening act. NBIS Jazz Band will also open, who are a group of 6th and 8th grade band students at North Branford Intermediate School who work on a variety of music throughout the year to enhance their musical experience. It’s a free evening that runs from 6:30 – 8:30 PM and is the first of ten Thursday concerts which play the town green through Thursday, August 30.
