36th Annual Roseland Cottage Fine Arts and Crafts Festival
Roseland Cottage is an 1846 Gothic Revival structure prominently situated across from the town common in Woodstock, CT – part of Connecticut’s quiet Northeast corner.
As you’d expect from such a stylish Victorian home, Roseland Cottage has an equally exquisite two-day Fine Arts and Crafts Festival. 175 artisans display their wares – jewelry, pottery, clothing, metalwork, toys and more – in what is one of the finest juried fine arts and crafts shows in New England. The show starts Saturday, October 13, but continues through Sunday, October 14 with tours of the cottage, music, and more. The festival runs from 10:00 am - 4:30 pm (rain or shine.) Tickets are $5 per adult; free for kids under 12 and Historic New England members.
If you’re interested in historic properties of this ilk, incidentally, you might want to check out Historic New England (www.historicnewengland.org) which cares for and manages 36 exquisite historic museums throughout New England.
