Slater Park has a bit of everything, from a small petting zoo to paddle boats to walking trail to a playground the kids will like. But the highlight of the park is undoubtedly the Looff Carousel, built by craftsman Charles I.D. Looff in 1895, that has resided at the park since 1910.
Westerly is one of Southern New England’s most charming towns, so it figures the resident theater would be no less charming. And the Granite Theatre – located in handsomely restored Greek Revival Church from 1843 – is just that.
